Graduation Is Right around the Corner

IF mothers make certain that graduation announcements are ordered in January or February, and IF mothers see that graduation photographs have been taken, THEN I am likely to receive treasured graduation announcements in late April through May.  I like to know that the children have grown to a certain age and are moving on to the next step.  And, I like to see photographs of how they have changed over time.  (I don't think that means I am getting old.  It means that I care about the children, and I want to pray for them by name, including their desired plans as part of my prayers.)

This week was the first week to sign up for summer school, Girl Scouts' camp, Little League, and more things that are a part of summer.  I don't think any registration was done from this address.

Thanks to those of you who are asking me about my plans to travel in the next few months.  I'd like to be at Men's Day on March 15, 2009, at DuPage A.M.E. Church in Lisle.  Bishop John R. Bryant is the guest preacher.  I continue to be a Bishop Bryant groupie!  It has been several months since I last heard "Bishop John" preach.  Although there was a power outage (and that includes the microphone), the bishop eloquently spoke to a packed church on Chicago's south side!  [Will I get there?  I've wanted to be at DuPage each year for Men's Day, and I have made it a couple of times.  Reality is...March 15 is still winter in Chicago!

I'm sleepy!  I need to go to bed.  Baffled!
